Lesson Fees, Attendance Policies, Parent/Student Media Consent

Payment Methods and Refunds:

  • Payments can be made via our website, in cash or via bank transfer.

  • All payments are non-refundable.

Tuition Payment Schedule & Fees:

  • Tuition fees are to be paid in advance by the last week of each payment cycle, before the start of the new cycle.

  • Payment for a block of 4, 8, or 12 weeks covers a fixed weekly time slot within that period and cannot be extended beyond the respective 4, 8, or 12 weeks.

  • Failure to make payment by the deadline may result in the opening of the time slot for other students.

  • Lesson prices are subject to change without prior notice. By continuing enrollment, you acknowledge and accept any future adjustments to lesson fees.

No Makeup Lesson Policy:

  • Missed lessons are forfeited and cannot be rescheduled or credited for future weeks.

  • If the teacher cannot provide the lesson, the lesson will be rescheduled.

Absences/Holidays:

  • Students planning to be absent (e.g., holidays, school holidays, events) during the upcoming payment cycle should inform the teacher early to open their time slot for other students or maintain their regular time slot through continuing to make payments while they are away.

  • Frequent absences may lead to lesson termination at the end of the payment cycle.

School Holidays and Public Holidays:

  • School holiday breaks are treated similarly to any other absence, and options for retaining the time slot are available.

  • Lessons are usually provided on public holidays, but arrangements for these days can be discussed individually with students/parents.

Online Lessons:

  • Online lessons are available for cases where in-person attendance is challenging or when the teacher or a student is away.

Cancellation, Tardiness, and Absence Notifications Policy:

  • A minimum of 24-hour notice is required for lesson cancellations.

  • If a student is running late, they should inform the teacher through a message.

  • If a student cannot attend, they should inform the teacher as soon as possible, respecting the teacher's time.

  • Failure to inform the teacher about absences may lead to lesson termination.

Health and Safety, Student's Sickness:

  • Students should stay at home if they are sick.

  • If a student appears to their lesson showing sickness, the lesson will not be provided.

  • In cases of mild sickness, online lessons may be considered.

During the Lesson:

  • Students arriving early should wait in their cars until the scheduled start time.

  • Any questions should be raised at the beginning or during the lesson (not after).

  • For one-on-one sessions, only the student is permitted, along with a maximum of one additional person for note-taking. If a parent prefers to take a nap during the lesson rather than contribute to the learning process, we kindly ask that they refrain from entering. We also ask that curious relatives visiting from out of town kindly respect the learning environment. Please allow the student and teacher to fully focus on their work without turning the lesson into a showcase. When the time is right, we’ll announce a special open master class for everyone to enjoy!

  • Eating meals during lessons is not permitted.

Commitment to Regular Practice & Parental Support:

  • Regular commitment and practice are vital for successful musical studies.

  • We strongly advise parental support throughout musical education: be present and make notes during the lessons to be able to help during home practice.

  • Lack of practice or attention to the teacher's advice may result in lesson termination at the end of the payment cycle.
